Our photograph shows proud Daniel Galvin with his wife Mavis and children outside Buckingham Palace after Daniel recently received his OBE from HRH Prince of Wales.
Daniel Galvin is renowned in the hairdressing profession as hairdresser to the stars and his visit to the palace was all the more emotional as his most famous client for the last 10 years of her life was Diana, Princess of Wales.
The Galvins who are Elstree based originally hailed from Hartfield Avenue which Barry Allsuch remembers selling for them around 30 years ago. They also bought their current home nearby, off Allum Lane, through Barry Allsuch.
Daniel is also attributed with revolutionising the hairdressing industry through his brilliant use of colours and dyes. |
